So for 2016, I'll be tracking the indexes, and a small slew of equities.

These are the indexes, equities and etf's that will be tracked and traded for 2016.

AAPL, AMGN, AMZN, BABA, DDD, DIA, FB, FCX, GE, GILD, GLD, GOOGL, NDAQ, RPD, SPY, SQ, TNA, TWTR, TZA, WYNN, XIV, XLE.AllCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12480718972169744264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-58822058042545861872014-04-06T15:29:00.000-04:002014-04-06T15:29:01.147-04:00Equities on Track 04/06/14IMAX - could definitely head lower and test the 200dma and 50dma. Notice the failed breakout.

LYV - popped back above the 50dma but then gave it all up. Could have triggered short entry under 21.5 or 21.25. Looks like it heads lower.

WWE - under 27 and this could see 24's. Notice how it was riding the 20dma and is now trading under it.

WFC - held up nicely despite lousy market. Have to watch action on Monday.

BAC - definitely looks like it is headed lower. May try to push back above 50dma, but this could test 16 soon.

C - want to short this under 47 with target of 45. May scale out to protect profits.

BAP - finally looks ready to pullback. Hitting overbought levels and resistance. Breakouts have been failing and this one could too. Short or stop at 145.

V - tested 205 as expected. Let's watch.

MA - may bounce a little off 200dma. So short on pops. This looks like it wants to test 67. Stop above HOD.

PAY - could test 32 or 30. Looks like it is resting for another move up.

TZA - could buy on here or on dips with an add above the 50dma. Looks like it wants to start trading above the 50dma.

AAPL - watch the 50dma

FB - looks like it will test 55 and under.

LNKD - looks liek it wants to test YTD low of 160

EBAY - watch the 200dma

DANG - watch the 50dma

BIDU - looks like it wants lower, but may flag too.

TWTR - still think this is cheap here. Stop under 40 - this is a long swing play.

TSLA - stop under 209 - buy back around 20 or 195.

F - missed the 15.55 entry. Now watch. Notice recent death cross.

ORLY - watch.

AAP - watch. Not sure volume justifies the price action.

FLSR - watch.

TSL - looks like it wants to go lower.

CSIQ - could head lower as well. Watch support.

CANV - might be cheap here.

Could buy on dips near 47 with a stop near 45.5. Watch for false breakouts, but 49 and 50 are key levels.

ITUB - watching this since it looks like it needs to rest. This could pullback to 14.65 area. Let's see if 15 holds. Watch for false breaks.

RPAI - at a key level here for a break, but notice doji like candle and declining volume over last few days. Might need to rest a little before another leg up. Could go sideways. 14.90 is key.

DGI - could easily head lower. Watch for LOD break.

Hopefully Monday but it could be Tues. Of course the economy, both here and overseas will have an impact. A lot of these longs/bounces are contingent on the markets bouncing a little. Keep an eye on tech.

TNA - on watch to see if the doji is a short term reversal . Could buy near LOD 73.53 with stop at prev LOD. Watch for gap ups. Look to buy near prev open on gap. This is a tight stop.

LYV - watch above the 50day. Stop prev LOD.

WWE - This is oversold and might bounce here a little. Buy with a stop under LOD. Short gainer.

BAC - due for a green day. Entries on 15.85 hold and break of 17.19.

C - possible short under 47.

BAP - watch 136 break or parabolic move for short.

V- could test 205 but may pop a little here. Short on pops. Stop above 218.

MA - same as V. Could bounce a little here but should head lower. Short on pops with a stop above 75.20

FB - posted a hammer with no follow thru. Watch 58.58 or 62 for entries. This is looking oversold and about to hit support levels.

YHOO - watch above HOD as this may test 20day.

** AMZN - Interesting candles and level here. Should bounce if market shows some love. Looks oversold as well. Entry as near 200dma with tight stop. Watch volume.

LNKD - looks like it is trending downward. In a channel and could test 20day or higher. Don't really like this chart.

GOOG - interesting harami. Is oversold. Will it bounce? Stop under 1100.

DANG - may bounce a little. Not quite oversold. Look to see if this tests 13s qith a stop under 13 0r 12.50.

BIDU - watch a move above 151.90 stop under 200dma.

TWTR - is cheap here. Buy above 47.83 stop under 45.80s

TSLA - needs to break thru 216.44ish but it looks like it really wants lower prices. Could buy here with a stop under the 50dma.

ORLY - nice if it gets through the 20dma with volume.

PBY - could head lower. Watch the 50dma.

PRTS - watch 3's

TSL - could bounce. Watch volume and open.

CSIQ - watch under LOD 30.85.

MDT - looks like it wants to go higher. A little overbought but watch above 61 or near 60. Stop below LOD or 59.65 or 20dma.

SYK - watch over 81.

Are these tweezer tops or a res level to break.

NFLX - definitely oversold and at a key support level, but the bounce may not be significant. Watch the low or 351 for entries. Due for a green candle.

MPEL - nice reversal candles. Watch/buy above 38 with stop under 36.6

AMBA - could get a bounce here for short term. Stop under 25.31ish.

LYV - short near 20day or under 22.20ish
BAC - bearish belt hold?
V - watch the 50dma
CANV - nice candle.
TRTC - watch the 20dma.
TWTR -watch over 51
ORLY - see if this gap holds.
PBY - watch for a pullback here.
PRTS - look for a break of 3.
FCEL - filled the gap.allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-54629376878991611712014-03-23T23:07:00.001-04:002014-03-24T09:25:57.605-04:00Thoughts for 03/23/14----- PREVIOUS

YELP - could bounce here at this significant support level. Keep in mind that there are fears over China and the Ukraine. Could buy here near LOD with a stop under 81.

KR - still waiting to see what this does. Should move soon. My thoughts are it goes lower.

CIT - was a quick play. It broke out later in the week. This should pullback a little to test 200dma.

SO - still has room to go north. Watch the LOD.

----- FROM STOCKTA

DWA - hitting a pretty strong support level here. Watching for a possible bounce. Watch that 26.50 support level.

CCRN - could see near 7.50's. Watch 8.50 - 8.24 levels.

CYTR - really oversold. Watch the 200dma for a bounce or break.

FAZ - could pop back up to the 20dma.

----- FROM SHARPTRADERS

DNKN - look for a 20dma bounce.
ODFL - watch above 57.
PANW - watch the 20dma.
PII - piercing? Watch under 138.

allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-55007498944444048702014-03-17T00:57:00.000-04:002014-03-17T11:52:05.407-04:00Thoughts for the week of 03/17/14YELP - Called this one on Thursday of last week. Said this would bounce above 86 and it closed that day at 87.70. This printed a nice doji on Friday and help 50dma support. If market isn't completely terrible, I think this may bounce here. Might dip slightly under 85 but test 90 and even the 20day.

KR - in this market I am not certain breakouts will have much steam. I think traders are cautious. Also there has been little accumulation these past few trading sessions in KR. This might dip here, but the breakout could be taken advantage of above 44.40. Short it under 43.35 and volume. Volume is key here.

CIT - still think this is a good short here. Neared the 50day deathcross and lost steam. Also not quite a piecing pattern which is a bearish sign. Could short on pop with a stop above 49.10.

LPI - still bear flaggin so let's see what happens.

REN - Could still buy here with a stop under 7.61. A tight stop. Or stop under 7.35. It may go sideways so keep alerts ready cause you may not want to watch this one. Lol

PQ - watch for the fakeout. Posted a bearish engulfing and is overbought. Could see a short term pullback. Short on pops for a quick trade.

SO - nice three day run. Could look for a long on a dip to 43. If this clears 44...May flag though and be nice swing here.

CMRX - off of FDA drug approval. Setting new high. Watch this. RSI is overbought, but it may not matter. Volume has been pretty large on this. Where were we the last few days on this? Lol

allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-57325308653438865172014-03-13T22:56:00.002-04:002014-03-13T22:56:36.231-04:00Thought for 03/14/14This market sucks right now with a lot of pressure from tensions in the Ukraine and sentiment of the market being topped out.

COO - watch this at the 132.71 level. There is some support there. This may bounce at this level or a little under it. If it dips lower on volume, this will test the 20day.

KR - This is bull flagging, but a lot of BFs have been getting creamed in this market. Notice the low end of the flag coincides with recent high. This may dip below this support level. See how RSI is overbought. Could test 42 if market is still weak.

TIP - This has support at 112.54 and 112. Might test these supports if market bounces back a little. Buys are above the high 112.87 or 113.30

CIT - Might be a good short if this tries to test 200 or 50day. They are almost the same since death cross. Could also short on a move with volume under 48.

LPI - Is it bear flagging? Watch the 25 test for a possible short entry or short under lod and volume. Death cross and more room to downside. Could test 24 easily.

NBL - may be a nice short under the 200 day or pop to 67.80ish or 20day.

REN - Looks like this might be tweezer bottoms. Tough call in such a crappy market. Could buy here with a stop under 7.61 lod. Or short under LOD to test 7.35. Notice that it is oversold though.

TAL - has room to go lower. Short on pops as this could test recent base low.

Can buy at the open with a stop of 30.40 Be careful of a test of the 20day.

GIS - looks like it is flagging here. Could breakout over 50.85 day high. Watch RSI as this could be overbought and pullback to test 50.30.

HTA - could pullback here as it is overbought. Could short at 11.55 for a quick trade to 11.20. Or buy around 11.20 or a big volume break of 11.55.

NNN - see if 34 holds. Or look for a break of 34.53 or 34.65. I doubt this goes under 33.5

PDS - looks like it can run but it is a little overbought. The break is above 11.10 but this could see a pullback to 10.60. Be quick.

RENN - the buying volume was huge on that big move this past week. Could test 4.10 or even 4. Tricky one.

RECENTLY REVIEWED

ANH - looks like this pulled back as expected. Bounced nicely off the 20day. Could enter here with a stop slightly under the 20day or wait for move with volume above 5.25.

BTG - looks like it can dip some more. Watch for a move with volume under the 3 mark.

DRE - Didn't realize this hit 17 the day before my post. Took a dip as expected, but this could see 16.25 so be careful. Could buy here or around 20day of 16.45 and a stop slightly under 16.25. Breakout is above 16.90

KIM - Pulled back as expected, but this could still go south. Could buy here with a stop at 21.50. Or scale in here, then at 21.5 if it hits or above 22.25 and volume.

MAC - disappointing move under 61, but the price action is not justified by volume. Hope to see this pop back up. Could buy or add here with a stop under 59.70

GNC - made a small gain on a quick short, but this chart looks lousy. Expect this to go sideways.

PVH - I still think this may make a nice move north, but keep a tight stop slightly under the 50day with volume.

Could short for a quick trade under 5.16.

BTG - had a nice break out above 2.93. Looks like it can go higher, but is reaching overbought levels. Keep an eye on volume and the 3.08 level.

DRE - looks like it really wants to rest here. May pullback to 16.35 and form a cup with handle. I would like to see 17's before I short this. Then track it for the next leg up.

HL - don't really like the chart, but it might run if it can get thru the days hi 3.54 with some volume.

KIM - looks like it can break the 22.83 resistance and march toward the year high. In the short term it may pullback to 22.30 or 22.

MAC - looks like a buy at 61. Nice base over the past few months with a decent breakout. Tested new support and kept going. Hitting overbought levels so it may test 61 again or run past 61.90 for a nother buy trigger.

GNC - an ugly chart, but I think this goes lower from here. Watch out for a move above 49. Look to short under 48.

PVH - watch for a move under the 200day and volume or a break above 127.13

Nice little gap this morning, but watch out with a move under 42.90 and volume or 42.50 and volume.

EXK nice little gap up, but this is in overbought territory and may need to rest before breaking through resistance.

LEG has more upside, but may also need to rest in a couple of days. Watch out for a move under 31.25 and volume.

OFC looks like it has more room to move north. May rest here since it is in overbought territory. Watch out for a move under 26.80 and volume.

allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-26083452794713090192014-02-18T00:37:00.002-05:002014-02-18T00:39:37.745-05:00Thoughts For Week of 02/18/14MUX showing a nice doji star. Coupled with the overbought RSI, this may pullback to rest. This looks like it has some upside though but after a pullback. Poor market conditions may beat on this. Short for a quick trade as this may test 2.90s again. Buy opportunity if 2.70s hold,.

REM is another stock that may pullback before moving upward again. RSI is overbought and volume is diverging from price action. Could pullback to 12.20 before another run. Watch out for the 20day break down.

SWI is a good looking chart. This may rest before running north again. Watch out for a break under 42 or the 20day. Volume has diverged slightly from price action, rsi is overbought and obv has reached a res level.
Looks like it needs to rest a bit.

CI is kinda ugly, but macd is compressing, rsi rising, and volume has been fairly strong for recent sessions. Look for a move above 200day to test 81.

BGS looks like a bullish harami, but needs confirmation. Rsi is oversold, it is below the bbands and just bounced off a significant support level. This may run up near 30 to rest before moving lower.

BRK/B dunno if you can short this but I think this recent run north won't last. This may test 116 or even 118 before pulling back. Look for a move back below the 200day. Notice the death cross and volume divergence.

GIS looks like it might post a doji or star this next couple of trading sessions before pulling back. Notice death cross. Might test 51 before a move south.

WCN is hitting overought levels as well as a significant resistance level. May post a doji or small candle soon before pulling back near the 200day. Notice death cross and price volume/price divergence, but volume on the 10th was also staggering.

Look for bounce here at this doji. Watch for a break below doji low or of 49.

MWE hitting overbought territory. Look for a dip here, but watch as this could test 71 or even 72.

FNV This may go sideways to rest, but definitely has a lot more upside potential. Look for a break out above 60. Buy on a weak dip 47.

RTEC needs to breakout above the 200 day to look good. I believe it will stall and become a great short at the 200 day. However, market may have an impact on this one.allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-36204176250803870812014-01-26T20:06:00.001-05:002014-02-18T00:39:17.377-05:00Trade Ideas for Week of 01/27/14SPH If market weakness continues, I think this heads lower. Look for this to crack under 44.30.

TE Looks like it has more downside potential. Look for a dip below prev days low.

AMZN went short under 400. Think this has more downside. Hoping it cracks 380 soon.

LPX looks like a broadening wedge here. Short under the 200 day and volume, but watch out for a bounce to stay within the wedge.

MDR Another one that looks like it will break the 200day support level. Look for a break with volume. Hopefully a weak market will spur the move.

TXI I think this has more upside potential to trade at a new high. Watch out for traders taking profits. This may flag with a gradual move upwards.

WAT I think this has more downside especially in a weak market. May not be a big winner unless it can break 20day support.

TZA Hitting a nice res level here. May pullback to test 20day so look for an entry there.allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-72619009201442442682014-01-24T00:37:00.003-05:002014-02-18T00:38:09.276-05:00Some Ideas for 01/23/14CRI I think this still has more downside left if the market continues to weaken. Short under LOD.

FDO Is another stock that has more downside in a weak market. Look for a short under 63.85.

TUMI is testing support here again. If this 20.22 level cracks this is going much lower. A weak market will help this along.

DSU Is in overbought territory, is hitting resistance, and volume has diverged from price recently. I think this pulls back amongst more market weakness. Could use a healthy pause anyway. Lol

Suspect that this may pop then fail. Can't see this getting past 80.

OZRK This looks ready to pop. Would prefer to buy near 56.54, but 58 would do also.

NMBL Could pop as well. Notice volume on last huge move as compared to large moves toward end of last year. Over 50 and volume and this could go.

INVN Definitely looks like a cup and handle. Volume looks good too. Needs to pass 21.80, but watch out for pre-earnings spikes that may simply be day trades and not swings.

TQNT Looks like it is ready to pop here. Broke past 8.50 and needs to clear 9. Volume looks good throughout trading days. May pull back a little before a pop, but with Europe looking strong, this may go today.

GOGO Needs more confirmation as 20day crossed under 50day. MACD may reverse soon, bt hard to tell right now. Volume on last positive moves were good and RSI is low but could be lower. Need to see more signals, but this could go soon.

WX Looks good in my opinion. Consistently trading off that 20day. Looks like it may have rested and could go soon.allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-67168240252707702282013-08-13T11:40:00.002-04:002013-08-13T11:40:17.052-04:00Analyzing Long Swings$COT looks ugly and out of play for my timeline. Might be good if it can stay above the 50day.

$GGB looks pretty good here. Some strong resistance coming up here now.

$IMAX I don't really like the volume and price divergence over the last few weeks. I do like the move above the 50day and MACD movement.

$WFM Definitely has upside according to indicators but I am not so bullish on this over the longer term - 3-4 months.

$TROX looks like it still wants to trade in that sideways channel.

$WFC looks like it needs some rest and may come back to test 41 - 40.

$TOL looks like it may be a good short. See if it breaks under 31 or 30.

$PHM bearish if it breaks under 15.

allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-77496449588294372342013-08-03T21:03:00.001-04:002013-08-03T21:03:25.763-04:00Stock to Consider for Longer Term Trade$COT has MACD climbing from depths. Could breakout and trade well above 200MA.

$GGB looks pretty ugly but may reverse trend. Needs to break res level and run higher with volume.

$IMAX coiling here but needs to break out on volume.

$WFM looks like a possible short soon. Needs to show some weakness like the current lower volume.

$TROX some interest in this building up now. Needs to break thru res levels and reach for 38 again.

$WFC may have peaked for now and rest or pullback. Needs to bust thru support though. Double top?

$TOL looks like it is resting here for another move north. Real Estate should be getting stronger over the next few years.

$PHM another RE stock. Looks kinda ugly here, but with market set to get much better, this may be a good time to buy. Looking to see if this bust thru next support level.

Let's keep an eye on these.allCityTraderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13024184905587449186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1688882023068127791.post-50838096398141579022012-12-02T23:45:00.002-05:002012-12-02T23:46:10.419-05:00JNPR CIM EMN EWA Watchlist 12/03/2012
